Air Force Tech. Sgt. Francis S. Warren is currently deployed overseas at a forward operating base in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Operation Enduring Freedom is the official name given to anti-terrorism military operations involving U.S. troops and allied coalition partners. Reserve component members from all branches of the U.S. armed forces have been mobilized, activated and deployed along with active duty members to support the war against global terrorism. Mission objectives encompass combating the international terrorist network or regime forces outside the borders of the United States. U.S. troops serve in South and Southwest Asia, Central Asia, the Arabian peninsula, islands in the Pacific, and in numerous other countries. Warren, a police technical advisory team supervisor, is normally assigned to the 11th Security Forces Squadron, Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C. He has served in the military for 12 years. He is the son of Lisa C. Warren, and grandson of Theodore Brown, both of Saratoga Springs Place, Murrieta, Calif. His wife, Stephanie, is the daughter of Elvin Santiago of Palm Road, Salinas, Puerto Rico, and Roberta Flournoy of Sunny Ridge Court, Woodbridge, Va. The technical sergeant graduated in 1994 from Dana Hills High School, Dana Point, Calif.
